Our 12th Musical Summer is Almost Here!
It’s our 12th summer
and the memories are just waiting to happen….
FAMILIES! Grab your beach ball, we’re going to the beach! Crabs are scuttling, toes are wiggling, waves are crashing, and the sun is shining. Beach Days is as fun and restorative as…well, a trip to the beach! Offered in Music and Art in TEN locations.

Summer Kindermusik for Babies provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that includes creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, your baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all of his/her senses engaged. This summer’s theme: Gather your critters; it’s time for some fun with Pet Parade!

Adults! We are so proud to begin our 11th Summer, and celebrate the official anniversary of 

10 years of connections!
Holly Lesnick began teaching Kindermusik in 2002, and in the summer of 2005, with the help of Rachael Joachim, created Grow and Sing Studios.Our very first class was on Wednesday, June 15, 2005, and our first day of classes this year are on June 15, 2015, our 10th Anniversary! In 2007 we won our very first Kindermusik Maestro Award and have won each year since. Over the years, it has become a family business and is now directed by Holly and her husband Will. Each year we strive to serve more areas of Central Florida, and offer more class options with a first class staff, to reach more amazing families. Now offering classes, party entertainment, lessons, and even a photobooth, we strive to connect families and communities through the magic of music and love every day. We hope you will join us this summer as we commemorate our 10th anniversary and our incredible growth as we reflect back over the last 10 years.

Weeks 1 – 8: Research shows the more you expose your baby to nursery rhymes and songs, the stronger those emerging language-learning skills will be. That’s why these Mother Goose-like stories and rhymes are the main theme of this class.

Weeks 9 – 15: This class will help you bring more rhythm and routine to your baby’s day, as well as help develop lasting learning skills. Bring these stress-free play and relaxation techniques from class, and incorporate them into your daily routines.

Our Time
We’ll meet many animal characters in our books, activities, and songs-each specifically chosen for a toddler’s emerging interests and physical skills. We can’t wait to introduce ROVER! With a special stringed instrument emphasis in the music from class, parents can bring home the violin, cello, and orchestra sounds to help their toddlers stay happy and engaged learners at home, too.

Imagine That
In this unit, sidewalks, elevators, skyscrapers, and world-traveling photographers are the theme. We’ll be rhythmically busy playing storytelling games and handcrafting city “buildings” so we can make a cityscape in class! With a pair of resonator bars as a featured instrument, and a multicultural, jazzy collection of music, preschoolers will develop the social and intellectual skills they’ll need in school.

While learning to sing a melody, and then play the pattern on the glockenspiel, we’ll delve deeper into the understanding of musical concepts such as piano and forte through orchestra-style music such as the William Tell Overture and Peter and the Wolf. Music appreciation and understanding continues with a complete introduction to the instruments-and the families in which they’re grouped-of the orchestra.

Your child learns best in the comfortable surroundings and everyday activities of home. So we’ll use this nurturing theme to turn our classroom into a pretend house!

Ms. Holly’s monthly art and book time class will enjoy many spring themes including Valentines, Rainbows, Butterflies, and even BUGS!

 

 Music for Aardvarkswith Mr. Richard
Get ready for more fun with Mr. Richard! These informal, spirited classes incorporate sing-a-longs, free-form dance breaks, and instrumental jam sessions. It’s an interactive musical party that the whole family can genuinely get excited about!!

We excited to announce our new partnership with Oviedo Mall to now offer weekly classes on Mondays along with our monthly playdates! Grow and Sing Studios now offers East Orlando classes on many days throughout the week: Mondays (Oviedo Mall), Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and monthly Saturdays (UCF area), Thursdays (Avalon) and monthly playdates (Winter Springs). If you need something in East Orlando, we’ve got it!!! Click here to register.
